Data Engineer (Snowflake+dbt)

ITFS company offers a position to work remotely in Poland on a data engineering project involving modern data platforms and tools.

• Professional experience at Mid+ or Senior level in data engineering
• Strong knowledge of SQL and practical experience creating ETL/ELT pipelines
• Experience configuring MDM platforms (e.g. Boomi Data Hub) with matching and survivorship rules
• Practical expertise in data profiling, cleansing, and reconciliation
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms (Azure, Snowflake) and modern data pipeline tools (dbt, Azure Data Factory)
• Familiarity with Git and Jira tools
• Ability to create clear technical documentation and test reports
• Very good command of English at C1 level for daily international work

Nice to have:

• Experience integrating CRM or LMS platforms like HubSpot or Aptem
• Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for automation and data validation
• Understanding of integration patterns based on API and event-driven architecture

• Profiling, cleansing, and transforming source data, identifying duplicate, incomplete, or inconsistent records
• Configuring MDM platforms (e.g. Boomi Data Hub), including entity design, ingestion, matching rules, survivorship rules, and quarantine handling
• Building ETL/ELT pipelines and source-target mappings between operational systems and the data platform
• Implementing data platform components using technologies like Snowflake, dbt, Azure Data Factory, or Azure Synapse
• Preparing reconciliation results and data quality evidence for testing, UAT, and business acceptance
• Supporting integration connector and API development in collaboration with developers
• Creating technical documentation, data mappings, and data quality rules
