The Big Data Cluster supports data scientists by providing a large data collection and a data science workbench. It focuses on establishing a modern technology base with on-premise and cloud solutions, creating a data lake as a single data and analytics hub, managing data quality and metadata, and providing data marts and sandboxes for various segments and functions.
Wymagania
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Good knowledge of Python and Cloud
- Must be a student after second year or graduate (up to 12 months after graduation) in technical, mathematical, business, finance, economic, or related studies
Obowiązki
- Develop database technology products in On-Premise and Cloud environments
- Participate in full Software Development Lifecycle including analysis, architecture, and testing
- Support production issues during working hours
- Set up data pipelines / ETL processes on cloud platforms (in particular Google Cloud)
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle
- Focus on stability, performance tuning, and innovation of applications and monitoring
- Collaborate with data sources to understand technologies and efficient data retrieval methods (file formats like csv, XML, JSON)
- Design data structures (e.g. table partitioning, data formats)
- Exchange with data platform team to provide feedback and improvement ideas
- Maintain proper documentation of data and metadata
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and learning culture
- Work in international projects using agile methodologies
