Senior Java Developer with French or German

• At least 4 years of professional experience as a software developer, preferably in Java.
• Hands-on experience in the insurance domain.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, clean code principles, and best practices.
• Solid understanding of software engineering concepts.
• Proficient in English (minimum B2/C1 level).
• Proficient in French or German (minimum B2 level).
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Experience with Web services (REST, SOAP), Microservices, JMS, Spring, or similar technologies.
• "Can do" attitude.
• Ability to work legally in the European Union.

• Experience and certifications in Guidewire.
• Consulting experience.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and solutions.
• Willingness to travel regularly.

• Implement and customize Guidewire core insurance system using an alternative JVM language.
• Develop internal systems as part of the R&D team.
• Support the team by sharing knowledge.
• Serve as an authority figure for junior team members.
• Design IT solutions and prepare documentation.
• Create unit tests.
• Work directly with clients as an active agile team member.
