DAP Platform Solution Architect

The Digital Assistant Platform (DAP) is one of Lufthansa Group's strategic platforms, providing the foundation for building, operating, and governing conversational AI, voice-enabled solutions, and agentic applications. It enables product teams to rapidly deliver intelligent digital experiences through a secure, self-service platform with reusable capabilities, standardized architectural patterns, and enterprise-grade governance.

• At least 2 years of experience as a Solution Architect.
• Extensive experience as a Platform Solution Architect, Lead Architect, Platform Architect, or Cloud Architect.
• Strong expertise in designing enterprise-scale cloud platforms.
• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform architecture and strong experience with Microsoft Azure architecture.
• Experience with conversational AI platforms and digital assistant ecosystems.
• Experience with LLM platforms, RAG architectures, agentic AI systems, and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with Vertex AI, Azure AI Foundry, and modern AI platforms.
• Ability to create architectural artifacts, including diagrams and technical documentation.
• Experience working in Agile, cross-functional teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Self-driven, proactive mindset with confidence to take initiative.
• Collaborative approach, willingness to share knowledge, and openness to innovation and continuous learning.
• Good command of spoken and written English (C1).
• Willingness to work from the Gdańsk office twice a week.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of aviation, airline, or travel industry ecosystems.
• Experience with container orchestration and service mesh architecture.
• Experience with multi-cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with AI security, guardrails, threat modelling, and responsible AI frameworks.

• Design platform capabilities supporting conversational AI, digital assistants, agentic AI, and LLM-based workloads.
• Define network and security architecture patterns for cloud workloads.
• Define and evolve the target architecture.
• Produce architectural decisions and target pictures aligned with platform strategy and business objectives.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive architectural consistency across DAP services, APIs, automation, and integrations.
• Participate in architecture reviews and technical decision-making.
