Backend Developer (Java)

Deviniti is a company working on diverse projects for a long-term client in the leasing industry. The team includes Fullstack Developers (4 seniors, 8 mids), an IT Architect, a Team Manager, and a Business Analyst. They operate primarily using agile methodologies and emphasize code quality through practices like code review, unit testing, and pair programming.

• Approximately 4 years of commercial experience as a developer
• Proficient in Java 11+, Spring 5+, Spring Boot 3+, Hibernate
• Experience with Tomcat, JPA, Agentic AI Development/Vibecoding
• Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, MS SQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, OracleDB
• Experience with REST/SOAP API, Swagger/OpenAPI
• Familiarity with Docker/Podman
• Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, SonarQube, Git, Gradle, Maven
• Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Experience with JUnit or other unit testing frameworks
• Understanding of code quality principles (SOLID, design patterns)
• Familiarity with team practices like code review and pair programming

Nice to have:

• Degree in a relevant field
• Experience with Camunda, Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jira, Nexus

• Designing and preparing solutions according to client requirements provided by the analyst
• Collaborating with the project team throughout the SDLC process
• Ensuring code quality using code review and unit tests
• Participating in task estimation sessions
• Conducting workshops with clients to develop solutions collaboratively
• Working within agile methodologies
• Developing skills towards senior or fullstack roles
