Senior Software Developer – Product Modeler (f/m/x)

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer (Python, .NET, or Java) to join a newly forming team developing and maintaining sales configurator solutions for Client Electrification. You will collaborate internationally with cross-functional teams to model and maintain distribution systems and service products. The team works closely with product sales configurators, portfolio managers, and engineers to ensure the configurator platform meets customer and sales team needs.

• Minimum 6 years of software development experience in Python, .NET, or Java
• Proven experience in product modeling and configuration within sales configurator tools like Tacton or Configit ACE
• Knowledge of ABB's DS and SE Division portfolio is a strong plus
• Strong team player with an independent and solution-oriented working style
• Ability to adapt in an agile and changing environment and willingness to learn
• Fluent English

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with software development processes and tools such as Azure DevOps

• Design, implement, test, and troubleshoot product models for distribution systems and service offerings
• Develop product models as defined by Product Managers and Sales Configurators, ensuring quality change management
• Collaborate with IS and Business stakeholders to deliver user-friendly and efficient Sales Configurator solutions
• Work closely with the platform supplier to maintain product model integrity during platform evolution
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot, and fix issues reported by users
• Contribute to the overall sales configurator development process
