Senior Power BI Engineer

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
• Expertise with Microsoft Analytical stack including Power BI, DAX, TMDL, and MSFT Fabric
• Proven experience in software development focusing on quality and timely delivery
• Experience designing and managing BI solution architectures with governance
• Strong knowledge of programming languages, databases, and software development methodologies
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools
• Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification

Nice to have:

• Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate certification

• Execute on AI/BI strategy for BI tools and data products
• Partner with product management to define technical roadmaps and translate user needs into technical specifications
• Translate system requirements and user stories into robust, supportable code designs
• Provide expert guidance and hands-on support in developing complex data models and reports using DAX, Power Query, Tabular Model Definition Language (TMDL)
• Develop and test code to ensure proper functionality
• Implement code through the software development life cycle using CI/CD tooling
• Collaborate with product and operations teams for integration
• Participate in application architecture design where appropriate
• Define best practice guidance and deliver training to communities of practice
