Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner

This role is in the finance industry, specifically serving a savings bank environment. The project supports business process improvement and compliance within the banking sector.

• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in a banking/finance/insurance environment.
• Proven experience in creating business cases, not just user stories.
• Experience with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban).
• Fluent German (C1+) is mandatory.

Nice to have:

• Basic understanding of AI use cases in banking.
• Experience within Sparkasse environment.
• Basic knowledge of SOC2 / ISO 27001 compliance.
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, or comparable tools.

• Creating and prioritizing user stories in close cooperation with specialist departments.
• Developing complete business cases, including cost-benefit analyses and decision templates.
• Stakeholder management on both the specialist department and IT sides.
• Coordination with Finanz Informatik on requirements and feasibility.
• Ensuring that requirements are documented in a compliant manner (SOC2, ISO 27001).
• Identifying AI potential within the assigned workstream.
