Senior Power BI Engineer

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
• Expertise with Power BI, DAX, Tabular Model Definition Language (TMDL), and MSFT Fabric
• Proven experience in software development with focus on quality and timely delivery
• Experience designing and managing architecture of BI solutions with governance
• Strong knowledge of programming languages, databases, and software development methodologies
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools
• Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification
• Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate certification preferred

• Execute on AI/BI strategy for BI tools and data products
• Partner with product management to understand business requirements, define technical roadmaps, architecture, and translate user needs into technical specifications
• Translate system requirements and user stories into a robust supportable design of code
• Provide guidance and support in the development of complex data models and reports using DAX, Power Query, TMDL
• Develop and test code to ensure functionality
• Implement code across software development life cycle preferring CI/CD tooling
• Collaborate with product and operations teams for integrated systems/services
• Participate in application architecture design where appropriate
• Define best practice guidance and deliver training to communities of practice
