Project Manager

GS Services is a company based in Poland with offices in multiple cities including Wrocław, Warszawa, Poznań, Kraków, and Gdańsk. They are seeking a Project Manager to work remotely on long-term cooperation projects under B2B or UoP contracts.

• Minimum 5 years of practical experience managing projects covering the full lifecycle (software, products, digital transformation, etc.).
• Documented track record of successful project delivery within schedule, budget, and high quality standards; achievements valued over certifications.
• Strong execution orientation with energy for crossing the finish line and overcoming obstacles.
• High motivation and autonomy: initiative taker, acts with determination, fills gaps without waiting for instructions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (upward, downward, cross-functional).
• Solid understanding of both traditional (Waterfall) and agile (Agile) methodologies and ability to choose and adapt the best method for speed and quality.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, ClickUp, MS Project, and Confluence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, turning data and feedback into practical decisions.

Nice to have:

• Experience working in startup/scale-up environments managing uncertainty, limited resources, fast changing priorities, and multitasking.
• Experience in product-oriented organizations or dynamic technology/SaaS environments.
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum (valued but less important than proven delivery achievements).

• Responsible for end-to-end project execution from initiation to successful closure and handover.
• Develop realistic and ambitious project plans, roadmaps, schedules, resource plans, and budgets and ensure their execution.
• Manage projects with a strong focus on outcomes, anticipate obstacles early, and proactively remove them.
• Coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams including internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, developers, and designers without formal authority when necessary.
• Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, provide transparent status updates, manage expectations, and escalate issues decisively when needed.
• Monitor progress carefully using relevant tools and metrics; identify deviations early and correct course to meet delivery commitments.
• Ensure delivered results meet or exceed quality, performance, and business value expectations.
• Continuously improve delivery processes, templates, and working methods based on retrospectives and lessons learned.
• Manage effectively in conditions of uncertainty and rapidly changing priorities while keeping the team focused on key outcomes.
