Software Architect

• 8+ years of experience in software development
• 2+ years in a similar role making architectural decisions
• Proven experience building and scaling platform-level products
• Strong understanding of C4 model or similar architecture frameworks
• Proficiency in coding in at least one programming language (preferred: Kotlin, Java, JavaScript, Python, C++, C#)
• Good understanding of cloud platforms, version control, automation, monitoring, analytics, containerization, distributed systems, and scalability
• Self-reliant and responsible for future deliverables
• Values collaboration and knowledge sharing
• Stays up to date with modern technologies
• Understands DevOps practices and infrastructure automation
• Enjoys working in a team
• Easily and openly communicates in English
• Bonus: experience with platforms and tools used in the gaming industry

• Lead architecture and evolution of frontend & backend services, integrations, and data flow for a platform supporting the gaming department
• Drive system design reviews and enforce coding standards
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools
• Ensure performance, scalability, reliability, availability, and security of the platform
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and trade-offs early in the development lifecycle
• Create and maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical roadmaps
• Stay hands-on by contributing to application development when needed
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Software Engineers, Game Developers, DevOps, and UI/UX designers
• Mentor engineers and propagate best practices across teams
