Senior Data Engineer (AWS & Snowflake)

1dea is a recruitment and IT outsourcing company focusing on expert and managerial positions. They operate globally with headquarters in Poland and cover sectors including IT, Transport, Spedition, Logistics, Property & Construction, and Tax & Legal.

• 4 to 7 years of experience in Big Data, ETL, and Data Warehousing
• Practical knowledge of Snowflake including Tasks, Streams, Stages, modeling, and security policies
• Strong proficiency in SQL and one of Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue/EMR)
• Knowledge of batch and real-time data processing with Kafka or NiFi
• Experience working with Agile methodologies
• Communicative English (B2+ level)

Nice to have:

• Experience with integration tools like dbt, Matillion, Informatica
• Basic DevOps and containerization knowledge
• Advanced performance tuning in Snowflake

• Participate in full cycle delivery of Big Data solutions including analysis, design, development, testing, production deployment, and maintenance
• Develop and enhance data pipelines in the cloud
• Migrate existing ETL processes from on-premise setups to cloud environments
• Work within Agile methodology and collaborate effectively with the team
