Lead/Senior UE5 Developer

Garage Monkeys S.A. is an independent game development team, creators of the game Car Dealer Simulator, focused on supporting and developing this automotive-themed project.

• Minimum two years of experience in a similar role
• Good knowledge of C++
• Good knowledge of Blueprints system
• Good knowledge of Chaos Vehicle System
• Ability to work independently and organize own and team's work
• Experience in constructing advanced gameplay systems from scratch
• Experience in product optimization
• Familiarity with Insights (profiling tools)
• Well-developed problem-solving skills
• Current knowledge of Unreal Engine 5
• Completed and released project in portfolio
• Proficiency in English

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of SVN version control system
• Knowledge of Steam API (Achievements, Cards, Cloud Saving)
• Understanding of game market trends
• Knowledge of shader creation
• Knowledge of Multiplayer development

• Program games using the Unreal Engine 5 by creating and developing mechanics and systems
• Build and manage Steam Works including updates and changes
• Monitor and optimize game performance
• Debug and fix bugs
• Collaborate with producers, designers, and programmers
• Communicate planned development work with team members
• Create and maintain documentation for developed systems
