Junior Category Manager (Office & Laboratory Supplies, Procurement)

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 6-9 years of procurement, sourcing, or category management experience.
• Experience managing indirect categories.
• Proven track record in supplier negotiations and cost reduction initiatives.
• Strong sourcing, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to use data and market insights effectively.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Experience with procurement systems such as SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Oracle or similar.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Fluency in English.

• Develop and implement global category strategies aligned with company procurement goals.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, analyze market trends, and assess supplier performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers; negotiate contracts and terms.
• Lead sourcing and procurement processes including competitive bidding and supplier selection.
• Monitor and analyze category costs; implement cost reduction strategies while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and product development to align procurement strategies.
• Identify and assess potential risks in the category and develop mitigation plans.
