SAP Developer

Upvanta sp. z o.o. is recruiting for a mid-level SAP Developer role based in Gdańsk, Poland, operating in the ERP domain.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in software development in a modern ABAP environment.
• Higher education in IT, technical, or related field.
• Practical knowledge of Clean Code principles, object-oriented programming, and Agile methodologies.
• Initiative in identifying areas for improvement and proposing effective solutions.
• Developed analytical, communication, and teamwork skills in an international work environment.
• English language proficiency at B2 level for fluent communication.
• Readiness to work in a hybrid model with 1 day per week in the Gdańsk office.

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA projects.
• Knowledge of SAP FI/CO, FSCD, PI/PO, or TRM modules, including data structures and programming aspects.
• Experience with the BizTalk integration platform.
• Familiarity with modern SAP technologies, especially SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

• Develop, implement, and verify programming solutions according to business needs, architectural standards, and code quality guidelines.
• Design, develop, and maintain reports using CDS Views.
• Prepare and perform unit tests and support functional and acceptance testing.
• Analyze reports and resolve application operation issues.
• Provide ongoing technical support, monitor system performance, and carry out maintenance tasks.
• Create technical documentation necessary for production deployments.
• Analyze and assess non-functional requirements for implementation feasibility.
• Participate in SAP environment updates, including patch deployment, SAP notes implementation, and transport management.
