Junior Machine Learning Engineer (Data Platform)

Grupa Allegro Sp. z o. o. is building high-scale ML platforms and advanced AI solutions supporting a product used by over a dozen million active users. They leverage on-prem Kubernetes infrastructure and Google Cloud Platform including Vertex AI, Dataflow, BigQuery ML, Cloud Run, and Composer/Airflow.

• Solid production experience in ML/AI ecosystems and building stable ML-driven solutions.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with scikit-learn, PyTorch, Pandas, FastAPI.
• Open to expanding skills into JVM languages (Java, Kotlin) and frontend technologies (React, TypeScript).
• Practical experience with Docker.
• Good analytical skills with knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge and application of DevOps/GitOps principles.
• Familiarity with cloud ecosystems, preferably Google Cloud Platform, and tools like Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Terraform.
• Advocacy for engineering excellence including clean code, TDD, CI/CD, and rigorous code reviews.
• Understanding of AI ecosystem components.
• Enthusiasm for using AI coding tools to automate tasks.
• Positive attitude, excellent teamwork skills, higher technical education (Computer Science or related).
• Language requirements: Polish C1 minimum, English B2 minimum.

Nice to have:

• Experience or enthusiasm for AI coding tools to optimize workflows.

• Develop and maintain a modern MLOps ecosystem automating ML model training and serving pipelines focusing on high performance.
• Build and support Allegro AI ecosystem components including AI Gov inventory, AI-Gateway workflows, runtime, and evaluation frameworks.
• Collaborate with internal partners and product teams to build and maintain ML/AI-based microservices.
