Engineering Manager, Growth

The Product Engineering team at Asana builds features end-to-end, focusing on data models and user interaction behaviors to create a superior user experience with continuous deployment architecture. The role leads a new Adoption Group team focused on helping new users discover the full value of Asana's collaborative software during their first moments, enabling long-term engagement.

• 7+ years experience in software engineering with at least 4 years managing a technical team
• Proven success in growth engineering, activation funnels, or Product-Led Growth (PLG)
• Strong technical foundation in full-stack web development and scalable APIs
• Ability to partner with Design and Product on large features and small enhancements
• Equipped with intelligence, empathy, integrity, and technical skills to earn team trust
• Comfortable with ambiguity and proactive in identifying and doing needed work
• Demonstrated curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with willingness to learn and apply them

• Hire talented engineers and enable the team to scale smoothly
• Manage and enable the growth of engineers on the Adoption team
• Guide the articulation and execution of the team’s future roadmap, ensuring alignment with high-level business goals
• Set the team up to own technically challenging and critical projects
• Coach engineers in their technical and professional development
• Ensure a reliable experience for Asana users globally while enabling rapid development and iteration
• Collaborate and learn alongside peer managers fostering Engineering culture and growth of the Warsaw office

Employees in Poland are employed under a contract of employment. The role is based in the Warsaw office with a hybrid schedule: in-office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday; possible home office Wednesday and Friday depending on work type.
