Senior Software Engineer

Asana is a product-led company with a product team that builds features end-to-end, including designing data models and implementing user interaction behaviors. The Functional Integrations team in the Platform Area integrates Asana with various function-specific tools. The role is based in Warsaw with an office-centric hybrid schedule and employment under a contract of employment in Poland.

• 5 or more years of full-stack experience in large, well-maintained codebases
• Professional experience in JavaScript/TypeScript (React, Node.js) or Scala
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional and cross-timezone collaboration
• Autonomous judgment balancing speed and quality in coding
• Passion for creating superior user experiences and attention to detail
• Interest and curiosity in AI tools and emerging technologies, willing to learn and apply them
• Appreciation for teamwork productivity and efficiency

• Build and own broad parts of the product, from user interface to back-end processing logic
• Participate in every step of the product development process alongside cross-functional team members including product managers, designers, user researchers, and data scientists
• Develop clean, maintainable, and high-quality code
• Collaborate with partner teams across time zones
• Contribute to product enhancements and continuous deployment pipeline
• Balance quick delivery with production of long-term maintainable code
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture within the team

This role is based in Warsaw, Poland with an office-centric hybrid schedule requiring presence Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with some option for remote work on other days. Employees are employed under a contract of employment in Poland.
