System Analyst

Scalo delivers software projects and supports partners in business development, offering IT services including technology consulting, software development, embedded systems, cloud solutions, data management, and dedicated project teams.

• Minimum 5 years experience as a System Analyst in data integration and designing data pipelines.
• Experience analyzing and documenting business and system requirements.
• Very good knowledge of SQL.
• Understanding of relational database functioning.
• Experience in designing data models for data warehouses or GCP BigQuery environments.
• Experience preparing requirement matrices and documentation supporting test processes.
• Ability to specify tasks for development teams both descriptively and via STM.
• Experience creating project documentation.
• Experience cooperating with business clients in defining requirements.
• Ability to analyze XML/XSD structures and design relational models based on them.
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge of data integration in GCP environment, especially BigQuery, DataFlow, and Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with design tools like Enterprise Architect or Visio.
• Basic knowledge of banking products.

Core responsibilities:

• Analyze and design data warehouse solutions, especially data pipelines and data sharing mechanisms through services, files, and queue messages.
• Analyze and model data models for data warehouses and data lakehouse architecture.
• Analyze and model ETL processes and data integration.
• Analyze and design data integration processes within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Design logical data models for operational data warehouses.
• Prepare Source-Target-Matrix (STM) for development processes.
• Prepare specifications for technical teams.
• Collaborate with business clients to define requirements.
• Document project-related specifications and support testing processes.

The project location is Warsaw with a hybrid work mode requiring presence in the office once a week.
