C/C++ Embedded Software Engineer

Emergesoft is a company with 14 years on the market, operating across 3 continents with 100 people onboard, 90%+ at senior level. The team works on high-scale projects processing up to 50 million transactions daily and managing 1 billion mobile money accounts.

• 3-5 years experience as a C/C++ software developer in an enterprise setting
• Experience with both ANSI C and modern C++ standards and specifications
• Understanding of embedded system architectures and hardware/software interfaces
• Knowledge of inter-device communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, or Ethernet
• Experience in vision systems, drivers development, image processing including understanding of LUTs, 3DLUTs, and filter kernels
• Experience with real-time processing, camera/sensors calibration, and image streams manipulation
• Experience developing software interacting with FPGA-based or custom hardware
• Effective collaboration with hardware, FPGA, and embedded engineering teams
• Basic knowledge of Matlab and Python
• Experience with the whole software development lifecycle, processes, continuous integration, and Git
• Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or similar
• Excellent collaboration, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); German is nice to have

Nice to have:

• Experience with Linux kernel, microcontrollers, OS drivers, and QT

• Collaborate with teams in software, hardware, FPGA, and DevOps areas
• Work on software operating between image sensors/lenses and hardware layer running on Linux and Yocto
• Develop and maintain real-time image processing components
