Associate Full-Stack Software Engineer (Java, Vue.js)

The position involves working with a leading provider of vehicle lifecycle solutions headquartered in Chicago, which connects a network of insurance companies, repair facilities, parts suppliers, and service providers to enhance transportation technologies and customer experiences.

• Practical experience with Java/J2EE, source code management tools like GitHub, Maven, and cloud platform AWS
• Experience with SoapUI, microservice development using Spring Boot, and CI/CD via Jenkins
• Knowledge and experience in Vue.js
• Familiarity with Spring and Hibernate frameworks
• Proficient knowledge of RDBMS and SQL (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
• Skills in defining clear interfaces/APIs using Web Services technologies (REST, SOAP)
• Experience in unit testing and frameworks such as JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium
• Understanding of software design patterns and pattern-based software design approaches
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency

• Collaborate within an Agile team to define, design, develop, and deliver new features
• Integrate with other product teams to ensure smooth functionality across environments
• Maintain clean, structured, and high-quality code
• Develop automated tests to uphold product quality
• Assist support teams in resolving escalated issues and support sales and service engineers
• Ensure code quality and adherence to testing guidelines
• Provide strong understanding of Java best practices and system scalability
• Ensure on-time delivery of software components
• Participate in open, frank technical discussions
