2026-0091 Exercise Configuration and Change Management Support (NS) - TUE 11 Aug

EMW, Inc. provides lifecycle Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA), Engineering and Installation (E&I), Operations and Maintenance (O&M), Force Protection Technologies and Contractor Recruitment Services across the fields of Defense, Health Information Technology, Cyber Security and Information Assurance, Perimeter Security and Telecommunications Infrastructure worldwide.

• Hold a valid NATO SECRET security clearance.
• Proven hands-on experience in configuration management, change management, asset management, or a similar IT support role in operational environments.
• Practical experience updating and maintaining CMDB records and handling change or incident tickets using tools such as ITSM or JIRA.
• Good knowledge of configuration and change management principles, including ITIL practices.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate with technical staff and management in structured environments.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills for accurate reporting.
• Knowledge of licensing models (e.g., VMware, Microsoft, Linux) and software types, with ability to track licenses.
• Familiarity with Communication and Information Systems (CIS) environments and basic IT infrastructure such as networks and servers.
• Ability to produce clear, structured, and auditable documentation.
• Comfortable following defined procedures and governance frameworks.

Desirable:

• Experience in NATO or NCIA environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices.
• Experience supporting configuration and change management during exercises, deployments, or large-scale IT operations.

Language:

• English proficiency at STANAG 6001 Level 3 or equivalent (CEFR B2/C1).

Exercise Configuration and Change Management Support Deliverables:

• Maintain accurate records of all Configuration Items (CIs) and update the CMDB to reflect real operational environments.
• Manage asset and equipment tracking including assignment, location, status, and check-in/check-out for exercises.
• Coordinate change implementation by managing schedules, confirming readiness, ensuring approvals, and maintaining RFC records in ITSM.
• Validate configurations before and after exercises, documenting deviations and updating records accordingly.
• Track installed software and licenses, ensuring compliance and record accuracy.
• Support Service Configuration Management by verifying alignment between deployed assets and CMDB baselines.
• Document changes comprehensively, providing traceable and clear records and reports.
• Maintain and update physical connectivity documentation (copper and fibre) in Patch Manager.

Governance and Coordination:

• Operate under Purchaser’s direction with prioritization and validation of tasks.
• Provide regular status updates, report issues or risks, and coordinate with other CIS service areas as needed.
• Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and operational requirements.

Deliverable Acceptance and Reporting:

• Submit monthly reports including activity summaries, supporting evidence, KPI measurements, and formal acceptance documentation.

The contractor personnel providing the services under this Statement of Work (SOW) is required to hold a valid NATO SECRET security clearance. The services are to be provided 100% onsite at CSU Bydgoszcz, Poland. No travel outside Poland is required.
