Product Owner

GK FARMACOL is one of the largest pharmaceutical distributors in Poland. The company combines experience in serving the pharmacy market with the development of digital tools supporting daily cooperation with clients – from order placement, product availability, commercial terms and promotions, to post-sales process handling. They develop B2B and mobile solutions that significantly impact the work of pharmacies, sales teams, operations, and customer service. They are looking for a person to help develop these products in an organized, measurable way closely aligned with user needs.

• Experience as Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar role bridging business, users, and IT teams
• Experience with B2B systems, e-commerce, mobile applications, order systems, CRM/ERP, or other solutions for business users
• Ability to independently manage product topics from context gathering through problem refinement, backlog preparation, priority agreement, and implementation support
• Capability to work with multiple stakeholders of varied perspectives, decision levels, and work styles, including non-technical and traditionally business-oriented persons
• Skill in translating business needs, user problems, and operational constraints into functional requirements and clear tasks for IT teams
• Practical knowledge of product backlog management, prioritization, user story creation, and acceptance criteria
• Strong documentation skills: describing requirements, decisions, processes, dependencies, assumptions, constraints, acceptance criteria, and workshop agreements
• Ability to conduct meetings and workshops with business and facilitate conversations to organize diverse needs and reach consensus
• Practical approach to data analysis, user reports, feedback, and business priority setting
• Basic knowledge of agile methodologies and understanding iterative delivery by development teams
• Openness to using AI and modern tools supporting Product Owner work, e.g., analysis, documentation, research, information synthesis, and material preparation
• Communication skills, responsibility, good organization, and problem-solving orientation beyond just collecting requirements

• Manage the product backlog for the B2B/e-commerce platform and mobile application
• Define, organize, and prioritize business and functional requirements based on business value, user impact, and technical complexity
• Co-create product roadmap and recommend priorities based on data, user feedback, and business goals
• Conduct discussions, workshops, and analyses with business stakeholders, users, IT teams, UX/UI, QA, analysts, and external suppliers
• Lead or co-lead product and process workshops including event storming, process mapping, and business domain modeling
• Prepare user stories, acceptance criteria, functional descriptions, decision notes, process documentation, and materials supporting development and business acceptance
• Maintain quality of product documentation ensuring decisions, requirements, dependencies, constraints, and agreements are clear to business, IT, and product maintenance teams
• Participate in discovery phases: identify user problems, verify needs, analyze data, collect feedback, and validate hypotheses before development
• Participate in refinement, work planning, feature acceptance, and align solutions with developers, QA, UX/UI, and analysts
• Monitor existing features, analyze user reports, and initiate improvements
• Coordinate product change implementations, communicate changes to users, and support business acceptance
• Use modern tools including AI solutions to enhance analysis, documentation, feedback synthesis, material preparation, and knowledge work
