Senior Infrastructure Engineer with French

Sopra Steria is a major European tech company operating in nearly 30 countries with over 55,000 employees. The Polish branch in Katowice serves as a Global Delivery Center since 2007 with around 1,000 specialists. The Digital Platform Services department specializes in cloud, operating systems, virtualization, databases, backup, storage, networking, and security. The Application Services department handles software development, data engineering, testing, CRM, ITSM, ERP platform integrations, and application management for clients across Scandinavia, Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland, and the UK.

• Senior-level experience in infrastructure automation and support.
• Hands-on experience with Maestro connectors and workflows.
• Experience with TrueSight Server Automation (BMC BladeLogic), including N1 support, agents, and TOC.
• Knowledge of server infrastructure automation.
• Experience in user support and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to create and maintain operational documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Proactive and detail-oriented.
• Effective documentation and knowledge sharing skills.
• Very good command of French and English (minimum B2) for daily client communication.
• Willingness for occasional business trips abroad and regular office visits in Katowice.

Nice to have:

• TrueSight (BMC BladeLogic) certification or equivalent.
• Linux LPIC-2 certification.
• Experience working in enterprise infrastructure environments.

• Design, configure and maintain Maestro connectors and workflows for infrastructure automation.
• Provide Level 1 operational support for TrueSight Server Automation (BMC BladeLogic), including agent management and TOC activities.
• Implement and maintain server infrastructure automation solutions.
• Support users in resolving technical automation and infrastructure issues.
• Analyze recurring issues and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Create, maintain, and update operational documentation and technical procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning and reliability of automation tools and infrastructure platforms.
• Collaborate with internal teams on infrastructure operations and automation initiatives.
