Competitive Intelligence Analyst

• 6-8 years of experience in product research, UX research, or competitive intelligence
• Hands-on experience with AI and LLM tools, building automated research workflows
• Experience with competitive intelligence tooling (e.g., Crayon, Klue, G2, SimilarWeb)
• Structured and detail-oriented analytical approach
• Familiarity with knowledge management tools and information architecture
• Ability to connect insights across R&D and Marketing
• Clear written communication skills for competitor digests
• Ability to identify patterns and strategic shifts in competitor activities
• Experience in B2B SaaS, work management, or productivity software is a plus

• Operate and maintain the AI monitoring stack including alerts and changelog trackers
• Execute rapid, high-quality competitor teardowns using AI-assisted workflows
• Maintain and update the Feature Matrix with current data
• Produce weekly competitor digests for leadership to aid strategic decisions
• Build, document, and improve LLM-assisted research workflows
• Support deep competitor teardowns by conducting structured user flows and drafting analyses
• Manage the CPI knowledge base taxonomy, tagging, access, and searchability
• Translate competitive signals into strategic implications
• Develop a deep understanding of Asana's product and the work management category
