Sr. Full Stack Developer (Remote, Eastern Europe)

Apex Wheels designs and manufactures lightweight, performance wheels for motorsports enthusiasts. Founded in 2007 and based in California, the company has a team of 40+ engineers focused on race-proven wheel designs. The team is distributed across multiple states and time zones, emphasizing modern tools and innovation to expand their product catalog and market reach.

• 5+ years professional full-stack development experience with production web applications.
• Deep hands-on experience with React and Next.js in large applications.
• Fluency in TypeScript with clean, type-safe codewriting.
• Proficient with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, including SQL queries, joins, indexes, and performance tuning.
• Experience with a type-safe ORM and migration workflow, preferably Drizzle or transferable experience like Prisma.
• Confidence integrating third-party and backend APIs, handling pagination, retries, rate limits, and failures.
• Security-conscious development including parameterization, input validation, authentication, and permission enforcement.
• Experience writing and maintaining tests and extending test suites.
• Comfortable owning an inherited, partly-documented codebase.
• Solid command of Tailwind CSS and component libraries like shadcn/ui.
• C1/C2 English proficiency.

Nice to have:

• Experience integrating with ERP systems such as NetSuite and SuiteQL.
• Background job or queue system experience with BullMQ, Redis, or similar.
• Knowledge of schema-driven form and validation patterns like Zod and React Hook Form.
• Experience with RBAC and permission models.
• Experience in inventory, purchasing, supply-chain, or ERP-related domains.
• Familiarity with error monitoring and performance tools like Sentry.

• Build and ship features across inventory and purchasing workflows, dashboards, and data-heavy tables using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Maintain the NetSuite sync layer by writing and managing SuiteQL queries and sync pipelines to populate PostgreSQL.
• Model and evolve database schema with Drizzle, handling migrations and query performance.
• Debug and fix ERP-to-platform data synchronization issues end to end.
• Optimize queries and page load performance, including indexing and data delivery to clients.
• Build reliable background and queue jobs using BullMQ and Redis ensuring idempotency.
• Maintain clean, reusable component architecture with Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui, perform code reviews, and ensure test coverage.
• Contribute to technical decisions and platform direction.

This position allows remote work from Poland or Croatia, with consideration of other Eastern European countries. Core team works Central European and Pacific Time hours; candidate should ideally work a compatible schedule. The role requires regular physical activities such as standing, sitting, talking, hearing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and computer use. Occasional domestic travel for team-building events is expected. Regular, predictable attendance is required. The selection process includes virtual interviews, behavioral and cognitive assessments, and a short paid work assignment.
