Embedded Firmware Engineer (Wrocław)

Upvanta sp. z o.o. is hiring an Embedded Firmware Engineer to work in a hybrid mode in Wrocław.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in designing embedded systems (firmware and hardware).
• Good knowledge of C/C++ in embedded contexts (bare-metal, RTOS).
• Practical experience with microcontrollers such as STM32, ESP32, NXP, Nordic (nRF), or similar.
• Knowledge of communication protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Modbus, USB.
• Ability to read and create electronic schematics.
• Experience using laboratory tools: oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter, lab power supply.
• Experience in hardware-level debugging (JTAG/SWD).

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr).
• Experience with wireless communication (BLE, LoRa, Wi-Fi, Zigbee).
• Experience with OTA (Over-The-Air) updates.
• Knowledge of Python/scripting.
• Experience with version control and CI/CD systems for firmware (Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI).

• Designing, developing, and maintaining firmware for embedded systems, including drivers, communication protocols, and application logic.
• Prototyping and debugging hardware.
• Collaborating on hardware and software layer integration.
• Analyzing problems at the electronic and code level.
• Creating and maintaining project technical documentation.
