FuSa Infotainment Engineer

ITFS is offering a position in the automotive industry focusing on functional safety engineering within infotainment and connected vehicle systems.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in functional safety engineering within the automotive industry
• Practical knowledge of the ISO 26262 standard and safety analysis methods (HARA, DFMEA, FTA, FMEDA)
• Experience with infotainment, HMI, telematics, or vehicle connectivity systems
• Experience validating and testing with HiL or LabCar test benches
• Knowledge of communication buses and protocols: CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet
• Skills in diagnosing electrical faults in vehicles
• Experience defining functional and technical safety requirements
• Very good command of the English language enabling fluent business and technical communication
• Flexibility in working hours and willingness to attend occasional evening meetings

• Practical implementation, analysis, and validation of functional safety (FuSa) in infotainment systems and connected vehicles
• Conducting safety analyses (HARA, DFMEA, FTA, FMEDA) and defining functional and technical safety requirements
• Designing and validating safety mechanisms
• Diagnosing electrical faults and troubleshooting vehicle systems
• Verification and testing of solutions at the vehicle level and in laboratory environments (HiL, LabCar)
• Collaborating with international engineering teams on safety standards implementation
