Project Manager

The role supports a strategic, multi-year change programme within the Product Control function of a global financial institution, focusing on finance infrastructure transformation in financial services – Global Banking & Markets.

• 5+ years experience within Product Control or adjacent functions such as Traded/Market/Credit Risk
• 8+ years overall professional experience
• Proven track record in strategic change initiatives across geographies and seniority levels
• Ability to design and set up project governance structures for complex initiatives
• Strong RAID management skills
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills including requirements and testing artefacts
• Strong communication skills for working with teams in London, Kraków, and India
• Ability to prioritise conflicting requirements and manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of P&L Explain, FX position processes, IPV, or market data time series
• Experience with Fidessa or similar trading/risk platforms
• Familiarity with Vault or similar results data stores
• Leadership experience coaching or managing Business Analysts
• Experience with Business Transformation Framework (BTF) or equivalent change governance model

• Support the Product Control Change Manager by producing high-quality project analysis and ensuring documentation meets Business Transformation Framework (BTF) standards
• Understand and map the FX position process and coordinate its sharing with Traded Risk
• Analyse P&L Explain data exceptions, manage end-to-end resolution including requirements documentation, stakeholder solutions, testing, and go-live support
• Improve governance of adjustments by Product Control by analysing adjustment data and developing improved tooling
• Work closely with IT teams to assess delivery estimates and ensure clear documentation
• Design and maintain project governance structures tailored to initiative needs, linking with other strategic programmes
• Proactively identify bottlenecks and risks to milestones; maintain RAID logs and escalate high-risk items
• Manage conflicting requirements across multiple workstreams with tight deadlines; communicate effectively with geographically dispersed teams
