SAP Basis Administrator with German (Part-time)

• Several years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator or Consultant
• Strong technical knowledge of SAP NetWeaver (ABAP & Java), patching (OS, SAP kernel, Java), SAP Security Notes and security concepts, upgrade, migration, or S/4HANA projects
• Experience in operational SAP environments including incident, change, and problem management
• Independent, structured, and reliable working approach
• Fluent German language

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAP monitoring tools (e.g., Avantra, SAP Solution Manager, or comparable tools)
• Experience with automation topics such as scripting, job automation, and standardization

Operational Activities:

• Execution and coordination of operating system updates (Linux / Windows, depending on the system landscape)
• Planning and implementation of Java patches (SAP NetWeaver, SAP Java stacks)
• SAP Security Notes Management, including analysis, technical assessment, implementation of basis-relevant security notes, and coordination with responsible teams
• Execution of add-on, kernel, and product installations (ABAP & Java) including interface coordination with business departments and external service providers
• Monitoring of the SAP system landscape, including analysis and handling of system alerts
• Technical coordination and execution of upgrades and migrations such as release upgrades, technical conversions, system copies including technical lead activities and documentation
• Planning and execution of SAP system copies (ABAP & Java), including pre- and post-processing activities such as BDLS, RFC adjustments, and user/job cleanup

Automation & Optimization:

• Identification of automation opportunities within SAP Basis operations
• Standardization of recurring activities (e.g., patching, monitoring, routine checks)
