Product Manager Customer Supplier Master Data

The employer is a large organisation operating within the FMCG sector with a focus on innovation and operational excellence in IT Project & Programme Management.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data and analytics, or business administration
• Proven experience in a global and matrixed organisation, particularly within the FMCG sector
• Strong expertise in managing Customer and Supplier Master Data products
• Advanced knowledge of data governance, analytics, and compliance standards
• Ability to develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps effectively
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in identifying and resolving data quality issues
• A proactive approach to incorporating market trends and best practices into data management solutions

• Define and evolve the product vision, roadmap, and value in line with business and IT strategy
• Act as the main contact for business stakeholders (MDM, Data Owners), gathering requirements and managing the backlog
• Drive global adoption of the product
• Co-create and maintain data governance
• Own the product end-to-end (from ideation to operations)
• Develop and maintain customer and supplier data models
• Combine discovery and delivery (workshops, user stories, sprints)
• Prioritize features based on business value (ROI)
• Ensure data consistency and a clear "source of truth"
• Monitor progress and support demand management (ServiceNow)
• Act as a Master Data expert (SAP + MDM)
• Understand system architecture, integrations, and data flows
• Participate in global SAP deployments (end-to-end)
• Oversee cost control and service catalogue
• Collaborate with deployment and support teams (incidents & improvements)
• Partner with Data & Analytics teams on MDM strategy
• Participate in architecture and governance forums
• Ensure compliance with IT standards, security, and data governance rules
