Senior Data Platform Engineer - Python or Go

Link Group is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to develop and maintain scalable internal data applications and platform services focused on backend and platform engineering, including data infrastructure, metadata services, reliability, and operational tooling.

• Strong experience with Python and/or Golang.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and data platform technologies.
• Experience with cloud-native tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.
• Familiarity with Kafka, observability tools, and automated testing.

Nice to have:

• Experience with data warehouse or data lake architectures.
• Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, or OpenTelemetry.
• Background in financial services or large-scale enterprise environments.
• Experience working with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and data platform services.
• Improve system reliability, monitoring, and operational processes.
• Collaborate with distributed engineering teams and support junior developers.
• Contribute to modern development practices, including AI-assisted coding workflows.
