Solution Architect (Data & AI)

Procter & Gamble is hiring a Solution Architect within the Data & AI Core Data Lakehouse (CDL) Platform team based in Warszawa, focusing on architecting an Active Metadata ecosystem using the Databricks Lakehouse platform to enhance data discoverability and governance at scale.

• Hands-on experience with the Databricks ecosystem, especially Unity Catalog.
• Expertise in designing metadata-driven architectures and Active Metadata concepts.
• Previous experience as a Solution Architect or Data Engineer in enterprise Data Lake/Lakehouse environments.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and Spark; experience with API integrations is a plus.
• Ability to influence technical decisions across teams and communicate complex concepts clearly.

• Architect the Active Metadata framework within the Data Lakehouse platform.
• Design and implement data discoverability patterns using tools like Databricks Genie and AI documentation.
• Establish best practices for Unity Catalog implementation including tagging, lineage, and security.
• Architect metadata integration with external catalogs, BI tools, and AI applications.
• Evaluate and implement emerging Databricks features such as Serverless and Lakehouse Monitoring.
• Provide architectural oversight and mentorship to engineering teams.
