Programme Manager

VML Enterprise Solutions is a company based in Poznań, Poland, operating within the WPP Capital Group.

• Experience managing multiple teams across different workstreams (minimum 20 people)
• Software development Programme Management experience
• eCommerce experience, ideally within a retail environment
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and release management
• Experience with eCommerce frameworks and hosting solutions
• Knowledge of cloud and on-premises infrastructure
• Proven track record in successful delivery of ecommerce migration/re-platform
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Exposure to medium to large scale fixed price project delivery
• Experience in multi-vendor management
• Experience managing people and financial budgets, ideally in an eCommerce environment
• Experience overseeing third parties
• Some experience with code management tools such as git, bit bucket, svn
• Interest in implementation of Jenkins, git, or other release pipeline tools
• Excellent risk management skills
• Minimum three years experience working in an Agile environment
• Proven track record with organisations moving from Waterfall to Agile
• Working knowledge of Agile frameworks, Scrum and Kanban
• Effective leadership skills managing project managers
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• Good commercial knowledge; contract negotiations experience advantageous
• Minimum 6 years Software Application Development project management experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Nice to have:

• Experience with Account Director tasks such as Quarterly Business Reviews, Steering Committee Meetings, and budgetary management
• Experience working with the Magento eCommerce platform
• Developer background or programming qualification
• Knowledge of Azure and AWS DevOps tooling
• Minimum BA/BS degree in information management, marketing, communications, business, or related

• Accountable for all delivery across the programme
• Manage and maintain the client relationship, including Account Director responsibilities
• Analyse, evaluate, and overcome programme risks; produce accurate reports for management and stakeholders
• Maintain organisational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
• Create and implement effective ways of working throughout the project lifecycle
• Track and manage dependencies between projects and workstreams, creating programme level plans
• Ensure programme goals are reached by updating workstreams on progress and changes
• Provide support and guidance to project managers and line manage several project managers
• Maintain a resource plan showing resource commitment and track potential end dates
• Track resource requests and manage fulfilment internally or externally
• Develop strong relationships with team members and client stakeholders
• Work with client to understand vision and plan programme of work accordingly
• Define and implement programme level governance with client
• Manage third party vendors on behalf of the client

This job is a full-time position located in Poland. The selection process is conducted in English. Applicants must send their CV in English.
