Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (.NET)

The client is the leading provider of vehicle lifecycle solutions headquartered in Chicago. Their platform delivers advanced mobile, artificial intelligence, and car technologies, connecting a network of 350+ insurance companies, 24,000+ repair facilities, parts suppliers, and data and service providers to enhance productivity and customer experience.

• Extensive professional experience in software development with deep expertise in object-oriented languages (C#, .NET required)
• Hands-on experience managing and optimizing Azure SQL Database
• Ability to leverage modern coding assistants and AI tools like Claude, Copilot, and Cursor to accelerate development
• Proficiency with system monitoring and diagnostics using observability tools such as Application Insights and SQL Profiler
• Proven experience in API design/versioning including RESTful services and OpenAPI/Swagger standards
• Strong background in automated testing using unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit) and test data builder patterns
• Extensive experience building and scaling microservices architecture and event-driven patterns
• Proficiency with Entity Framework Core for efficient data access
• Expertise in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) for clean, maintainable software

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications and services supporting the product ecosystem
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems and external partners
• Develop backend services using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and Web APIs
• Design, deploy, and operate cloud-native services on Microsoft Azure, including Azure App Services and Azure Container Apps
• Utilize AI tools such as Github Copilot to automate information processing, source code generation, and unit testing
• Apply engineering best practices including object-oriented design, security, performance, and maintainability
