Power BI Engineer

Softeta is a software engineering partner specializing in backend-heavy, integration-critical systems for finance, energy, industrial, and other high-stakes sectors. The team includes 100+ AI and custom software experts with engineering hubs in Lithuania and Poland. This position is for a Power BI Engineer supporting a client in the retail and tourism sector.

• Experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, and DAX.
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with dbt and data transformation workflows.
• Experience working with Snowflake or another modern cloud data warehouse.
• Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts and analytics engineering principles.
• Interest in AI-powered analytics and experience with GenAI tools is a strong plus.
• Ability to optimize, refactor, and maintain BI solutions with scalability and usability focus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

• Develop new Power BI dashboards to enhance reporting capabilities.
• Build intelligent Power BI dashboards that automatically surface key insights.
• Refactor and optimize existing dashboards for scalability and multi-country rollout.
• Implement multi-language support for dashboards where feasible.
• Support the Analytics Engineering team in maintaining and developing dbt models.
• Prepare and structure data for AI-powered automated insights using Power BI and dbt.
• Improve report development processes leveraging Git-based version control, automation, and GenAI-powered documentation.
