AI Architect

Adtran Networks is hiring an AI Architect to work on internal AI roadmap, designing and implementing enterprise-grade AI solutions aligning with business objectives. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and participation in AI strategy execution, focusing on scalable architectures, data structures, and data lake setup for AI functions.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in AI/ML architecture and solution design
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and AI services with at least 5 years practical experience
• 5+ years experience with generative AI and large language models
• Expertise in data engineering, model lifecycle management, and MLOps
• Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks
• Familiarity with enterprise data pipelines and data lake architectures
• Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and APIs
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience implementing AI architecture solving problems in operations, sales, or finance (demand planning, inventory management, forecasting)

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with enterprise security and compliance frameworks
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field
• Implementation of MCP interfaces and AI agents

• Develop and maintain AI architecture frameworks for enterprise applications
• Develop a data strategy including a data lake and data structures supporting AI algorithms
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI use cases and translate them into technical solutions
• Design and implement machine learning pipelines, data ingestion, and model deployment strategies
• Ensure AI systems comply with data privacy, security, and compliance requirements
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend adoption strategies
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams
