Senior Backend Engineer

Wyden is the leading provider of institutional digital asset trading technology to financial institutions. Their team consists of leaders and engineers focused on digital assets in response to evolving regulations.

• Strong knowledge of trading infrastructure domain
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or equivalent practical experience
• Exceptional AI skills with knowledge of advanced AI toolkits and methods
• Exceptional proficiency in Java or Kotlin
• Strong knowledge of container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with monitoring and observability tooling
• Excellent skills in CI/CD and process automation
• Strong understanding of networking concepts
• Solid experience in integration testing in the cloud
• Proven competence in messaging systems and distributed caching
• Skills in reactive programming, performance testing, clean coding, test automation
• Embraces Agile values, continuous improvement, and iterative development

• Design and implement future releases of Wyden including low latency order management, execution algorithms, smart order routing, event handling, and business services
• Collaborate closely with product management, development team, head of development, and customers
• Engineer distributed systems and operate services in a cloud environment
• Stay current with industry trends and incorporate best practices into solutions
• Understand and apply security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms
