Vercom builds global cloud communication platforms (CPaaS) serving millions of users daily worldwide. The company is launching a new standalone cybersecurity platform project, designed as AI-native from the first line of code, with AI agents at the core of the product, not added at the end. This platform will be modular and growing with additional services over time.
Wymagania
- Minimum 6 years of backend programming experience in object-oriented languages
- At least 1-2 years in roles with real architectural decision responsibilities
- Experience designing SaaS and cloud-native solutions from scratch, able to discuss what worked and what needed rewriting
- Comfortable working in early-phase projects with evolving architecture and incomplete data
- Practical understanding of multi-tenancy: data isolation, permission models, client usage billing
- Ability to design modular systems with API-first, clear contracts, and event-driven architecture
- Conscious decision-making about costs and performance, especially related to AI token usage
- Experience working with AI as an integral part of development (code generation, refactoring, analysis, automation)
- Practical use of LLMs: prompt engineering, function calling, structured outputs, workflow building
- Product-oriented mindset: translating business problems into technical solutions and recognizing what not to build
- Enjoy autonomy, responsibility, and uncertain environments
Obowiązki
- Design the target platform architecture: technology stack, module division, data model, service boundaries, and multi-tenancy decisions
- Build the core foundation enabling fast addition of new modules without core rewrites
- Deliver the first production-ready module including architecture and code
- Design the AI layer: agent orchestration, token cost control, predictability, and reproducibility of results
- Build integrations with external systems and data sources
- Document architectural decisions for team understanding and evaluation
- Participate in building the technical team and setting AI work standards
