IT Product Owner (k/m)

PZU Tech S.A. operates in the insurance industry, and the role requires experience in an insurance company. The position is based in Warszawa with a hybrid work model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

• Minimum 3 years as a Product Owner in an insurance company
• Delivered at least 3 commercial products, including one in the insurance sector
• Strong knowledge of Scrum and the Product Owner role
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Miro tools
• Agile/Scrum certifications (e.g., PSPO II or equivalent)
• Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to make product decisions under uncertainty and manage trade-offs (time/cost/scope/quality)
• Advanced understanding of technology (systems, API, integrations, constraints) and impact assessment on product
• Experience conducting discovery activities (research, workshops, needs analysis)
• Experience managing resistance and change
• Services must be provided in Poland, specifically in Warszawa under a hybrid model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level

Nice to have:

• Collaboration with UX and understanding design processes
• Basic knowledge of SQL/logs
• Workshop facilitation skills (story mapping, event storming)
• Knowledge of GA4 or similar tools
• Encouraging the team to use A/B testing, experiments, and conversion optimization
• Advanced Agile/Scaling certifications (PSM II, SAFe, LeSS)
• Use of AI for working with needs, backlog, and product

• Creating and maintaining the product vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives
• Building relationships with stakeholders, managing expectations, and influencing product direction
• Understanding the Product Owner role and development processes
• Monitoring progress beyond value metrics
• Advanced backlog management and prioritization based on value
• Ensuring backlog transparency and understanding within the team and stakeholders
• Writing complete User Stories and breaking down requirements into releasable elements
• Collaborating stably with the Scrum team
• Designing and monitoring key product metrics (e.g., TTM, ROI, Revenue) and advanced metrics (e.g., KPI, OKR, NPS)

• Provision of services on the territory of Poland
• Service provision in Warszawa in a hybrid model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level
• Data processing information and candidate rights related to personal data protection described according to GDPR regulations
