Wymagania

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years managing and growing engineering teams.
  • Proven delivery of consumer-facing software and ability to drive execution through ambiguity.
  • Experience managing performance through clear expectations, candid feedback, and engineer development.
  • Technical judgment to guide architecture, quality, and reliability decisions, empowering senior engineers.
  • Experience leading significant technical initiatives end-to-end, including re-platforming consumer-facing systems.
  • Familiarity with modern full-stack development including declarative UI frameworks like React or React Native, and backend-for-frontend architectures.
  • Strong presence to build alignment and lead through change and ambiguity.
  • Humble, team-first leadership with a focus on high-trust, psychologically safe culture.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with global cross-functional teams.

  • Lead and grow a well-balanced team of engineers by setting expectations, providing feedback, and supporting engineer development.
  • Own the team's technical strategy and roadmap aligned with customer trust and business goals.
  • Empower the tech lead and engineers to maintain design and quality standards with hands-on support.
  • Manage system availability, reliability, performance, on-call responsibilities, and incident response.
  • Break down large programs into sprint-sized milestones with clear accountability.
  • Collaborate across Product, Design, Analytics, and other Engineering teams.
  • Guide the team to increase output using focus, leverage, and agentic AI.
  • Drive hiring and onboarding to build a diverse, high-performing team fostering ownership, quality, and transparency.
