Data Platform Solutions Lead (k/m)

Baltic Hub Container Terminal sp. z o. o. operates in Gdańsk with over 1400 employees, contributing significantly to the regional and national economy via VAT, excise, and customs duties. It is a major maritime logistics terminal in the Baltic, focusing on providing a safe and comfortable work environment and supporting employee development alongside competitive remuneration.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and developing data platforms.
• Minimum 5 years in a managerial role involving building and developing Data Warehouse/Data Lakehouse teams.
• Experience as a Project Manager for comprehensive Data Warehouse/Data Lakehouse implementation programs.
• Higher education preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analysis, Engineering, or related fields.
• Very good command of English, spoken and written.
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms and technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Platform, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience defining end-to-end data architecture including Data Governance, security, analytics, reporting, and data lifecycle management.
• Strong strategic and business competencies.
• Experience managing organizational change, especially implementing new processes, technologies, and building data-driven organizations.
• Ability to effectively engage stakeholders.
• Highly developed communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Implement and develop a Data Lakehouse/Data Warehouse solution by defining strategy, architecture, and deployment plans aligned with business objectives.
• Build and develop the Data Lakehouse/Data Warehouse team including recruitment, competence development, performance management, and engagement.
• Lead the implementation program managing schedules, budgets, scope, risks, and project dependencies.
• Collaborate closely with the Board and management to identify organizational needs, set priorities, and deliver decision support solutions based on data.
• Develop standards, processes, and best practices in data management.
• Promote a culture of data-driven organization.
