Unreal Engine Programmer (Tools & Optimization Specialist)

Digital Daredevils S.A. in cooperation with Toplitz Productions is seeking an experienced Unreal Engine Programmer to join the project Vikings Dynasty, a continuation of the acclaimed Dynasty series. The position is onsite in Wrocław office.

• Participation in creation of at least two released games in a similar role
• Very good knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 (including World Partition, material editor, profiling)
• Experience with GPU/CPU optimization and rendering
• Experience programming in C++ within UE5 context
• Ability to create editor tools and extensions for UE5
• Proactive problem-solving approach
• Teamwork skills
• Highly developed communication skills
• Knowledge of current trends, techniques, and pipelines in modern game production

Nice to have:

• Experience working on open world games
• Knowledge of Blueprints and their integration with C++
• Experience porting games to various platforms (PC, consoles)
• Knowledge of network systems in Unreal Engine

• Create and maintain tools supporting level designers and level artists
• Support the team working in the World Partition environment
• Collaborate with the team on optimization efforts
• Profile CPU/GPU and identify and resolve performance issues
• Optimize materials and shaders
• Improve UE5 pipeline and workflows through automation and custom tools
• Collaborate with artistic and technical teams to solve production issues
