Windows Automation Engineer

Motorola Solutions is a global technology company focused on building and connecting technologies to help protect people, property, and places. The Windows Platform Team is responsible for building computing platforms supporting mission-critical communication networks, including ASTRO 25 used by first responders.

• Experience with administration and deployment of Microsoft Windows OS (Server and Client) and Active Directory in an enterprise environment.
• Understanding of programming/scripting concepts (variables, control structures, loops, error handling) in any language such as Python, Bash, or C#.
• Willingness to learn PowerShell.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile processes.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking and TLS/PKI concepts.

• Develop and maintain software solutions for automated installation and configuration of Windows Server and Client Operating Systems.
• Design and implement automated solutions to manage complex Active Directory environments for critical communication networks.
• Write clean, scalable scripts to enable efficient, hands-off system management.
• Collaborate in an agile, global environment to ensure infrastructure deployment is effortless, secure, and reliable.
