Software Engineer 2 (Java / Kotlin) - Allegro Merchant AI Assistant

In Merchant Experience we holistically handle our Merchant processes including acquiring new partners, their registration, verification, account setup, order management, statistics delivery, payment and pricelist management, and API integrations. The role is within the Advertising team working on Allegro Ads, closely collaborating with the Machine Learning team to create high-performance solutions with engineering best practices.

• Experience coding in Kotlin or Java.
• Knowledge of Spring Boot and Kafka.
• Enthusiasm for AI and staying current with technical innovation.
• Understanding or willingness to develop skills in LLM models and prompt engineering.
• English proficiency at least at B2 level.

Nice to have:

• Experience with React and TypeScript frontend technologies.

• Code in Kotlin or Java using Spring Boot and Kafka to build backend systems.
• Develop robust, highly scalable microservices for real-time data-driven support.
• Use LLM models to create agents and automate conversations.
• Apply prompt engineering techniques and evaluate the quality of LLM models.
• Optionally contribute to frontend reporting components with React and TypeScript.
• Influence technical vision and help shape new projects within the ecosystem.
