Senior Fullstack Developer (Angular + Django)

KOIA is a software development company working on a modern fintech platform for the Scandinavian market. The project involves an Accounting Practice Management System co-owned by three major accounting firms, serving over 3,000 daily enterprise users. The client’s engineering team is small (5-6 experienced developers) and focuses on high-quality software and excellent engineering practices.

• 5+ years of commercial experience as a Fullstack Developer
• Strong expertise in Angular and TypeScript
• Strong expertise in Django 4.x
• Excellent Python development skills
• Experience with Django REST Framework, Django Filters, and Celery
• Experience writing unit tests with Pytest
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
• Good understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS (AWS Fargate is a plus)
• Good understanding of CI/CD workflows (experience with CircleCI is a plus)
• Experience working with Git and GitHub workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Very good English communication skills (B2+/C1)
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Cursor

Nice to have:

• Experience with React, .NET, or Node.js
• Experience designing distributed systems
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Experience working in fintech or product companies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

• Collaborate on both back-end and front-end development of applications
• Work in a hybrid environment with regular time in the Gdańsk office alongside remote work flexibility
• Write high-quality end-to-end (e2e) and unit tests using tools such as Pytest
• Support clients in transforming existing applications to new technology stacks
• Maintain a client-focused approach with frequent communication
• Work in the Central European Time zone (CET) and be available during core CET business hours
• Occasionally travel to Norway or the Poland office for meetings and events
• Contribute to the success of cutting-edge technology projects
• Pay attention to detail and ensure quality of development work
