Avenga is hiring a Data Architect / Tech Lead to work on Cloud Data Platform architecture in Warsaw with a hybrid work model (1 office day, 4 remote). The role includes designing and developing the technical architecture of data platforms, defining architectural standards, overseeing data product development, and coordinating technical team efforts.

• Minimum 7 years of IT experience, including 3 years in Tech Lead, Lead Developer, Data Engineering Lead, or similar roles.
• Experience designing and building data platforms in enterprise environments.
• Experience implementing core insurance systems for claims and benefits (EIS or Guidewire).
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, and integration design.
• Familiarity with Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure data platforms, including Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, and Event Hub or equivalent solutions.
• Proficient in SQL and technologies for handling large data volumes.
• Experience applying CI/CD, DevOps, and deployment automation practices.
• Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, and data security concepts.

• Serve as Data Architect / Tech Lead in Cloud Data Platform domain.
• Design and develop technical architecture of the data platform.
• Define architectural, design, and implementation standards.
• Make key technological decisions for the data platform.
• Coordinate technical team work and support team members in problem-solving.
• Conduct architectural reviews, code reviews, and quality assurance activities.
• Oversee the construction and development of Silver and Gold data layers.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, availability, and security.
• Define and develop data products for reporting, analytics, and AI solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, Product Owners, and project teams.

The data administrator is Avenga with headquarters in Gdańsk. Candidates have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit processing of personal data. Data is processed for recruitment purposes. Providing required data is mandatory under the Polish Labor Code. Consent for additional data processing is voluntary and can be withdrawn anytime. Data will be stored until the recruitment process ends or for claim periods. Data recipients include Rocket Jobs and other contracted parties processing recruitment data.
