Architekt Danych (k/m)

PZU Tech S.A. is hiring an Architekt Danych / Tech Lead to design and develop data solutions within a Cloud Data Platform, focusing on data architecture consistency, defining technical standards, and supporting business and analytical teams in building scalable, secure, and high-quality data products. The role involves technical leadership and coordination of development work related to enterprise data platforms.

• Minimum 7-10 years of IT experience, including 3-5 years as a Tech Lead, Lead Developer, Data Engineering Lead, or similar role.
• Experience designing and building data platforms in enterprise environments.
• Experience implementing core insurance class systems for claims and benefits (EIS or Guidewire).
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, and integration design.
• Familiarity with Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
• Practical experience with data platforms based on Microsoft Azure, especially Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, and Event Hub or equivalent solutions.
• Very good knowledge of SQL and large-scale data processing technologies.
• Experience applying CI/CD, DevOps, and deployment automation practices.
• Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, and data security concepts.
• Experience in technical team leadership and coordinating development work.
• High independence, responsibility, and ability to make technical decisions.

Nice to have:

• Experience using AI/Machine Learning and preparing data for AI-based solutions.
• Experience designing event-driven architectures.
• Microsoft Azure Data Engineer or Azure Solutions Architect certifications.
• Knowledge of Data Mesh and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) concepts.

• Project and develop data solutions within the Cloud Data Platform.
• Ensure consistency of data architecture and define technical standards.
• Oversee the execution of development work.
• Support business and analytical teams in building scalable, secure, and high-quality data products.
• Provide technical leadership and coordinate development teams.
