Expert Fullstack Django & Angular Developer

KOIA is a company working on a modern fintech platform for the Scandinavian market. The project is an Accounting Practice Management System co-owned by three major accounting firms, serving over 3,000 daily enterprise users. The client's engineering team is small and focuses on excellent engineering practices and high-quality software.

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience as a Fullstack Developer.
• Strong expertise in Angular and TypeScript.
• Strong expertise in Django 4.x.
• Excellent Python development skills.
• Experience with Django REST Framework, Django Filters, and Celery.
• Experience writing unit tests using Pytest.
• Proficient with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Good understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS (AWS Fargate is a plus).
• Good understanding of CI/CD workflows (knowledge of CircleCI is a plus).
• Experience working with Git and GitHub workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Very good English communication skills (B2+/C1).
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools like Claude, Copilot, or Cursor.
• Ability to leverage LLM-based tools for debugging, testing, and accelerating development.
• Active experimentation with modern AI-assisted development workflows.

• Build and maintain scalable software products using Angular (TypeScript) and Django.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction.
• Design and develop REST APIs using Django REST Framework and Django Filters.
• Implement asynchronous tasks with Celery.
• Write unit tests with Pytest.
• Work with PostgreSQL and Redis databases.
• Collaborate on cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS Fargate.
• Participate in CI/CD workflows (e.g., CircleCI).
• Use version control systems like Git and manage workflows via GitHub.

Nice to have:

• Experience with React, .NET, or Node.js.
• Experience designing distributed systems.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience working in fintech or product companies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
