Data Steward

The role is for a Data Steward position supporting data governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance initiatives specifically within a banking environment across Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. The project/client domain is banking, focusing on regulatory reporting processes and compliance including BCBS239 standards.

• Experience in data governance, data management, or similar roles
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry
• Strong SQL skills
• Strong data analysis capabilities
• Understanding of data warehousing and reporting
• Knowledge of database structures
• Experience with MS Office, JIRA, and Confluence
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent English, written and spoken

• Experience with regulatory reporting

• Business knowledge of banking products, systems, and processes
• Experience with data lineage frameworks
• Experience with data quality frameworks

• Support data governance and data management activities across regulatory reporting processes
• Identify, analyze, and help resolve data quality issues

• Define and document data lineage across relevant systems and reporting flows
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Contribute to compliance with BCBS239 and internal data governance standards
